The Stanford Method’s Stop Smoking/Stop Vaping Program is designed to help smokers who have the desire to quit end their dependency comfortably and without experiencing cravings, irritability or weight gain.
Our program graduates report a wonderful sense of freedom, an increased breathing capacity and better circulation. They also notice an improvement of their health overall and a tremendous sense of accomplishment. As part of our Corporate Wellness Seminar series, our Stop Smoking/Stop Vaping Program also helps clients manage stress in a healthier manner. Our “graduates” report that they sleep better, choose healthier food, drink more water and many even begin incorporating exercise into their lives. These new, healthier patterns contribute to their overall well-being and longevity.
How Do We Accomplish All of This?
Our approach is psychological and most of what is troubling about quitting smoking is the psychological withdrawal. Using a combination of relaxation and cognitive techniques- old triggers to smoke dissolve and new, more appropriate behaviors are established. The result, happily, is that there is very little or no withdrawal from quitting smoking.
Our Stop Smoking/Stop Vaping participants receive a relaxation recording for follow up which enhances long term success.
